My name is Adrian Laffitte, and I live in Rosemount MN. I was raised as a catholic in Mexico and now I attend a Lutheran church in Apple Valley. My family and I are very heavily involved in our church and the security of a place where my kids spend 4 days a week is very important.
Chris is an Instructor at of Law Enforcement Advanced Programs. Chris has an impressive resume’ which includes over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, most of which was spent in the training division. Chris also served in the U.S. Army. Chris is an active law enforcement officer for a mid-sized agency in north central FL. Chris has held multiple positions throughout his career, including: Sergeant, Drug Task Force Agent, and a Sniper. Some of Chris’ Instructor certifications include: FDLE: Firearms, First Aid, Defensive Tactics, NRA Patrol Rifle Instructor, Combat Shooting and Tactical Rifle Instructor.
Meet Chris – a true Floridian with an impressive 32-year career in public service. He’s not just your average guy; he’s a certified Instructor through the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission, and his dedication is next level.
Chriss Grube enlisted in the United States Marine Corps following graduation. After being Honorably Discharged, he enlisted in the Pennsylvania State Police in January of 1990. He served in numerous capacities including Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Firearms Instructor, Accident Reconstruction and Station Commander. Chriss retired in August of 2015 at the rank of Sergeant. Chriss joined a local Municipal Police Department serving as the SRO for the local High School. Chriss remains a part-time municipal police officer serving mainly on specialized assignments and conducting training for the Covington Twp Police Department. Chriss currently leads the Mid Valley School Police Department. He has served as a firearms instructor for over 30 years, instructing handgun, rifle and shotgun, he also instructs Ballistic Shield, Mechanical and Ballistic Shotgun Breaching, CQB, Stop the Bleed and Active Shooter training.
Damon has 17+ years of experience in local law enforcement with a final rank as Lieutenant. Formally trained and certified as an Instructor for PPCT, Firearms (police and civilian), TASER and SWAT. Served on two different SWAT teams during which time held instructor certifications for Distraction Devices, Chemical Munitions (which included OC) and Less Than Lethal control tactics. After transitioning from full-time patrol work, Damon became the Director of the police academy at a local college and started the first security officer and canine academy at a junior college in North Texas. Additionally, he obtained the certification and designation of a Master Peace Officer, Advanced L.E. Instructor and Level III Combined Instructor for security officers.
Howard is a retired US Army combat veteran, retired law enforcement veteran, college professor, and tactical firearms instructor. He currently works in the private/corporate security & executive protection fields. Howard serves as the tactical trainer for his church’s safety team. Additionally, he holds instructor certifications with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and the National Rifle Association. He teaches Legal Heat, Defensive Carry and Protect His House course for TS Enterprises across north Texas.
James is a retired Army Veteran, with over 20yrs of service and multiple combat tours. While in the military he served in many different positions of leadership and responsibility, some of those are Drill Sergeant, Drill Sergeant Leader, Combatives Instructor, and Close Quarters Marksmanship Instructor. He comes to Protect His House with over 15yr of weapons and instructor experience. James is also a Certified NRA Pistol Instructor. He understands the best knowledge is the shared knowledge and is looking forward to help bring that knowledge to others.
Jim’s resume includes over 15 years of law enforcement experience, approximately one-third of which is in the training division. Jim is a graduate of the Unites States Army Military Police School, Rehabilitation Training Instructor Course where he was awarded the Distinguished Honor Graduate Award. Jim is an active law enforcement Captain and he has held multiple positions throughout his career to include being a SWAT member, Sniper, Detective Sergeant, and Street Crimes/Narcotic Unit Supervisor. With a genuine passion for educating individuals on proper firearm practices, Jim’s expertise stems from his extensive experience and comprehensive knowledge in this field.
Michael’s passion is protecting and preparing houses of worship across this nation. In addition to serving with Protect His House, Michael is an associate pastor at his home church Calgary Temple in El Paso, TX.
Steven Stinsky enlisted in the military in 1984 as an active-duty Army MP. He served as a combat support MP for 2 nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey, Korea. While stationed in Korea, he became certified as a Military Police Investigator and conducted Black Market and undercover drug investigations. Upon leaving active duty, Steve enlisted in the Army Reserve as a Cavalry Scout and transferred into the IRR to pursue a career with the Pennsylvania State Police. In 1996 Steve enlisted in the US Air Force Reserve as a C-130 crew chief. He served two tours in southwest Asia in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Steve enlisted into the Delaware Air National Guard where he was selected to serve as the State’s 12 th State Command Chief Master Sergeant. Steve returned to his Army roots and currently serves in training and Operations roles with the 78 th Training Division. Steve served in a variety of roles with the state police including patrol, narcotics investigation, technical surveillance specialist, instructor, and served on a several task forces including an assignment as the state police liaison to the US Customs Service. Steve rose to the rank of Sergeant and retired as a Station Commander in 2011. Upon retiring from the state police, Steve was hired as the Chief of Police for the Fleetwood Police Department. In his role as Chief, Steve also served as a cross designated county detective and in the roles of Deputy Commander and Commander for the Berks County Emergency Response Team. Steve is a certified Firearms Instructor holding certifications by the NRA as a patrol rifle instructor and the state police as a handgun and shotgun instructor. Steve is also an approved instructor to qualify retired law enforcement officers for their yearly certification. Additionally, Steve has been certified as an instructor for defensive tactics, de-escalation, Taser, active shooter training, is a trained crisis negotiator, and has attended the 5-day Force Science Institute training course to review use of force incidents. Steve began instructing for Focused Fire Training in 2021 and is currently employed as the Security Manager for Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center.
Tommy spent 14 years in Law Enforcement. Tommy’s career included 10 years on SWAT with 2 of those years as the SWAT Commander. Tommy led his team on hundreds of successful missions while in command. Tommy is a State of Florida Firearms Instructor, an Active Shooter Instructor, and a Combat Shooting Instructor. Most importantly, Tommy is a Christian with a heart for the church and keeping the members safe. Tommy is a graduate from Life Christian University with a Degree in Theology. Tommy is also the owner of the largest Concealed Carry Training group in the State of Florida, Focused Fire Training.
