Greeters on Guard: The First Line of Defense

Greeters are more than friendly faces at the door—they are the first line of defense for the church. In this course, you’ll learn how to balance hospitality with awareness, recognize red flags, engage with purpose, communicate discreetly with the safety team, and respond wisely when something doesn’t feel right.

Through short video lessons, practical examples, and a downloadable Greeter Safety Checklist, you’ll be equipped to welcome warmly while also protecting faithfully.

By the end of this training, you’ll understand your role as both host and watchman—helping create a church that is safe, secure, and inviting.
