Our PRESS Level 2 training course is a one day, 8-hour course.
Our Active Shooter Response for Church Security Personnel includes:
-Proactive Measures to Mitigate a Threat (includes legal “Use Of Force” aspects)
-Tactical Placement of Church Security Staff Members
-Response Tactics – (movement, entry, engaging a threat, surgical shooting)
-Scenario Training – Responding to an Internal and External Threat
-Treating the wounded ~ Tactical Medical Procedures
The day starts with a brief presentation to cover the Agenda, Use of Force Discussions, Safety Briefing, and refresh attendees on points of an Active Shooter Situation.
Next, we break into 2 Groups. One group does training in tactical movement, room entry, hallway clearing, etc. The Second group engages in Tac-Med training. Groups switch, then lunch.
In the afternoon session, we dive into scenario training. The scenario portion of the training is what separates us from the other training companies. This creates a training experience like no other. This realistic training ensures that you will respond much more efficiently during a real active shooter threat.
Live Firearms are NOT ALLOWED at any time during this course. We use inert training pistols throughout the day.
We will encourage attendees to plan lunch during the break. Feel free to bring own refreshments for the day.
Please wear comfortable clothing & footwear that you can move around in, as we will have hands-on exercises and scenarios throughout the facility.
A presentation by US LawShield will be included. They will provide attendees with valuable resources.
