Protect His House: Church Safety Team Firearms Qualification – Phoenix, AZ

This 4-hour live fire training is designed specifically for church safety team members who carry a firearm or are responsible for the protection of others.
Led by experienced instructors and built on law enforcement standards, this course focuses on safe weapon handling, shooting fundamentals, decision making, and real-world application. Students will train through structured dry fire and live fire drills before completing a 40 round qualification to establish a measurable baseline of proficiency.
This is a controlled training environment. It is not a casual range session. Every student will be coached, evaluated, and held to a clear standard.

Located approximately 100 yards west of the main range
Final arrival instructions will be provided prior to class.
What You Will Learn
- Firearm safety and proper handling
- Grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control
- Drawing and presentation (range permitting)
- Malfunction clearing
- Post engagement decision making including follow through, assess, cover, and scan
- Shooting at multiple distances including 3, 5, 7, and 15 yards
- Accuracy, recoil control, and shot accountability
- Structured firearms qualification based on law enforcement standards
Qualification
Students will complete a 40 round course of fire.
- Passing Score: 32 out of 40 rounds in the designated scoring zone
- Students who meet the standard will receive a certificate of completion
Required Equipment
Students must bring the following:
- Handgun
- Holster that fully covers the trigger guard
- Minimum of 2 spare magazines
- Magazine pouch or method to carry spare magazines
- Eye protection
- Ear protection
- Minimum of 80 rounds of ammunition (100 rounds recommended)
- Water or hydration
- Snacks
