Assessment, Roles, Coverage, and Team Development
The PHH Church Safety Foundation Course is a 3-hour, in-person training designed specifically for churches that do not yet have an established safety team or are in the very early stages of building one.
This foundational course helps church leadership move from uncertainty to clarity by providing a structured, practical starting point for developing a safe, organized, and well-planned church safety ministry—without turning the church into a fortress or relying on fear-based tactics.
During the course, we conduct an on-site assessment of the facility, identify areas of coverage, and walk leadership through the process of defining team roles, responsibilities, and expectations. We also introduce the framework for developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a church safety team manual, giving churches a roadmap they can continue to build on.
This course is not about tactics or advanced response training. It is about stewardship, preparedness, and leadership—laying the foundation so your church can grow a safety team the right way.
