Comprehensive Church Safety Training
WHAT THE COURSE COVERS
Module 1: The Biblical Call to Protect Start with the why. This module lays the spiritual foundation for church protection, helping your team understand their role as servants and guardians. A biblical view of church safety and stewardship Why protection is a ministry, not just a duty Instilling a servant mindset in safety team members.
Module 2: Core Safety Skills & Emergency Protocols Give your team the tools they need to respond to the most common emergencies — from medical incidents to missing children to active threats. Emergency code system and proper response Handling medical emergencies and coordinating with EMS Response protocols for missing children Dealing with disruptive individuals and verbal de-escalation Active threat mindset and initial actions.
Module 3: Communication, Teamwork & Sunday Operations Real safety comes from preparation and coordination. This module teaches your team how to communicate clearly and work as one. How and when to use radios Team roles and responsibilities Preparing for Sunday services Creating consistency in your team’s weekly operations.
Module 4: Armed Team Members – Legal & Tactical Basics If your team includes armed volunteers, this section is critical. We provide a foundational overview of legal and tactical responsibilities. Firearms policy considerations (with a legal disclaimer), Understanding liability and legal aftermath, Basic tactical mindset and readiness principles.
Module 5: Final Assessment & Certification Wrap up the course with a team-wide exam and certification your church can stand behind. Section quizzes and a final exam. Official digital certificate upon completion Lifetime access for your church — great for onboarding new members
